Who knew making crêpes would be très simple? Labor Day weekend was the perfect time to give it a try! With Giada De Laruentiis' delicious Breakfast Pizza toppings and Alton Brown's simple Crêpes Recipe, it was a match made in Food Network heaven.

Alton's recipe calls for five simple ingredients: eggs, milk, water, flour, and butter. He suggests to refrigerate the batter for one hour to prevent tearing. When cooking the crêpes, I recommend swirling the pan to evenly spread the batter as you pour it in.

Once all the crêpes are cooked, it's time for Giada's toppings. First spread mascarpone cheese flavored with lemon zest.

Then top the crêpe with your favorite berries. Try your local farmer's market for their selection of fresh fruits.

Lastly, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar and voilà! A quick and flavorful breakfast. See Alton's recipe for more sweet and savory crêpes. Enjoy!
