“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi

We are inspired by thoughtful organizations that provide simple solutions for every day. Each quarter, we select a charity or organization that speaks to our hearts, and dedicate 1% of all our proceeds to their cause.

We believe every thoughtful deed counts, and we hope you will join us in this journey of paying it forward.

Gifts For The Hostess

'Open home, open heart.'

hostess gifts

As we know, inviting others into our homes is a special experience, so we say 'thank you' to those who do. Bringing a gift is customary and always a great way to thank our host. Being familiar with those who invite us in can help determine the right sort of gift to bring.

Here are some gift ideas to say 'thank you' for the host you know... and don't know:

  1. Throw Blanket
  2. Graphic Print
  3. Himalayan Salt Plate
  4. DIY Brew Kit
  5. Wooden Four-Across Game
  6. Herbivore Soap Set

Bringing food and drinks is always a great option, so reaching out to your host to see what is already being served can be very helpful when choosing what to bring.

Here are some tips:

If your host suggests a snack, bringing popcorn in a mason jar is a great idea. Don't forget to include your FREE foodie gift tag!

If you are unsure of what to bring and perhaps are unfamiliar with the host and food being served, no worries. A bouquet of flowers is a timeless gift. Make sure to include the vase so your host won't have to go hunt one down!

Wherever you go, go with all your heart. I love to go, to travel. To gain a first-hand perspective.
As a St. Louis native the Arch always symbolized the entryway to all the adventures that await.  From local journeys to adventure far off the beaten path, my ears are always peaked.
Over the years, travels to far aways places such as the rice fields of Vietnam have progressively unfolded to business travel. The travel has sparked interest in a few comforts.  From cozy socks for long airplane trips to a few foodie items that keep my soul nourished.  Enjoy safe travels this holiday season, in comfort with a few of these treats, for the travelers at heart (including you) . .
1. MAIKA Duffel Bag  (for my dad, shhh. .)
2. MAIKA Travel Case (for my sister)
3. Journal From Yolk (well, for me)
4. Cashmere Red Socks (my brother's new ski socks)
5. Weck Food Jars (for my mom's lunch tote)
6. Jacobson Mini Salt (fo all)
