Do you charge sales tax?
We are required to collect sales tax for orders shipped to California and Illinois.
How do I use my promotion code?
To use a promotion code, add all desired items to your shopping cart and proceed to “Check Out.” During this process, you will see a field to enter your coupon code. Only one code can be used per order. After submitting the code, the discount will be reflected on your total.
Promotional codes may not be combined and are subject to specific terms. All discount codes are at the discretion of MAIKA. For more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship international orders to most countries! If your country is not listed on the website during checkout, please email email@example.com.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are shipped within 2-3 business days from the time you place your order.
We ship our orders via UPS or USPS. Generally, U.S. shipments take about 3-5 business days.
International shipments take anywhere between 6 to 10 business days, depending on the final destination. Please note all international orders may be subject to additional duties, import taxes, or custom fees upon delivery in your country.

How do I track my order?
We are proud to partner with Route, the leader in package protection and tracking solutions. By selecting Route+ at checkout your order will be protected from damage, loss*, or theft.
In the unfortunate case that your order never comes or is damaged upon arrival, you can easily file a claim with Route and receive a replacement or be fully reimbursed.
*Claims for packages marked "delivered" must be filed after 5 days and before 15 days from the date the package was marked "delivered." Claims for packages presumed to be lost (where the status is not "delivered") must be filed after 7 days (20 days for international) and within 30 days from the last checkpoint.
What is your return policy?
Easy! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
We accept returns of sealed items in original condition or defective products. Final sale items may not be returned.
To initiate a return, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to shipping back your product(s) to receive confirmation.
Be sure to pack and seal the package securely, with the original tags and insert. For your own protection, we recommend that you insure your package against loss and request a delivery confirmation. Packages must be returned prepaid.

Upon receipt of your returned goods, we will issue a refund for the item price on your original receipt, and any applicable taxes. Shipping charges are not refundable.
We get that there might be rare circumstances where a return happens outside of the 30-day window. In this case, a gift card will be issued for items returned outside of the return policy
All sale items are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged.
How do I return a gift?
If you would like to return a gift that was originally purchased onwww.maikagoods.com, please email us at email@example.com for instructions on how to make an exchange or receive a gift card credit. To speed up the process, please have the order name or the name of the purchaser available.
Our Warranty Policy covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use and is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. During the Warranty Period, MAIKA will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or 365 days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer. This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
I need to cancel or change my order. Help!
We move pretty quickly once you submit your order but if your order has not left our warehouse, we will be happy to help you cancel or change your order. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as you can. You can also contact us at 415. 445. 4562. We always try to get back to you as promptly as possible, but please allow 1-2 business days for a response.
PRODUCT + CARE
Where are your products made?
We design all our textiles and products in our sunny California studio and partner with our factory in India to make them. Our partner factory is regularly audited and pays fair (above-market) wages to their seamstresses and workers.
How are your materials sustainable?
Our products are made from recycled cotton canvas and vegan leather. All our textiles are hand-printed in small batches using eco-friendly non-toxic pigment inks. We often use scraps and remnants from production to create upcycled products whenever possible.
How do I clean my canvas totes and buckets?
We recommend spot-cleaning our canvas products with water and mild soap. Reshape and hang to dry. When completely dry, you can opt to lightly spray a water repellent such as Scotchgard to keep your tote or bucket in good condition. Do not use spot remover or chemicals of any kind.
How do I care for the vegan leather handles?
Simply wipe handles with damp cloth.

Planet Access Company trains and employs adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They provide up to 70 individuals with disabilities annually in paid, train-to-work opportunities, including product assembly, order processing and material handling. PAC also offer a transition program for high school students to help set them up for success once they graduate.
