Mother's Day is coming up on May 9th, and while some parts of our lives are getting back to normal, your traditional in-person Mother's Day celebration with Mom may not be in the cards this year. You can still make Mom feel appreciated and loved by celebrating virtually, though!
Here are some virtual celebration ideas so her day is still special, memorable, and full of love:
1. Have a virtual meal
Order takeout from her favorite restaurant and have it sent to her house. Make sure to order something for yourself, too!
2. Cook something together
This could be a favorite family recipe, dessert, a new recipe she has been wanting to try, or take a cooking class. If you want to go the extra mile, ship her all the ingredients she will need. After you're done cooking, enjoy the meal together!
3. Flip through old photo albums
Let's be honest, moms looove looking at old photo albums and reminiscing on some of their favorite memories. Indulge her, it'll make her day!
4. Watch a Mother-Daughter movie
Ideas: Mamma Mia, Bad Moms, Because I Said So, and the list goes on.
5. Make Mom a playlist
Put some of her favorite songs together for her to listen to throughout the day.
Craft a wreath of your choosing (or take a wreath making class), design a picture frame, make candles with her favorite scent, and so much more.
7. Take a virtual flower arranging class together
Create your own bouquet of flowers with a virtual Mother's Day Class!
8. Host a virtual game night
Play one of Mom's favorite games, one you used to play together when you were a kid, or a game that incorporates the whole family.
9. Attend a virtual workout class together
If your mom is into fitness, sweat it out in a workout class together.
10. Have an at-home painting class
Some art studios offer to-go kits that you and Mom can do from the leisure of your homes.
However you choose to celebrate this Mother's Day, we wish you a wonderful day with Mom!
