MAIKA's Top 5 Must-Haves for a Summer Road Trip

We know, we know, it's not officially here yet, but we can't help daydreaming about all things summertime, especially when it comes to road trips. Driving up the California coast, or over a Rocky Mountain pass, or through the windy lush roads of the East Coast is one of the most memorable ways to spend your summer and no matter where you live, planning a summer road trip is almost a season essential.

Whether you're planning your next escape or are simply daydreaming, our top five road trip essentials may inspire you on your next escapade.  

1. Favorite Playlist

We're all for a great vintage playlist when it comes to long car rides and beautiful views. This Summer of Seventy Five playlist is the perfect starting point. 

2. Favorite Travel Bag

You may or may not have a favorite bag already, but since we fancy ourselves to be a bit of an expert on all things bag related, think this one is just about perfect, especially or road trips. 5. Favorite Roadtrip OOTD 

We like to be "road trip chic" on drives, because you never know which stop you'll take next. Comfort is top priority, so a good pair of leggings (we love these!) with a long tunic tee and a great sweater over the top paired with your favorite sneakers will keep you looking put together but still comfortable.
