Some of the greatest travel quotes like "of all the books in the world the best stories are found between the pages of our passport" or "wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow" only slightly begin to describe the beautiful journey from the states, to Paris, to Morrocco. Specifically the desert.

However, pictures, as they say, can speak a thousand words. . . And well a few details so you can embark on the journey yourself . . .

The journey began in Paris. AKA a slight resting point from state travels. You can then fly from Paris directly to Marrakesh. Be sure to eat at Nomad and stop at their beautiful store Chabi Chic.

Next stop is Merzouga. You will venture over the Atlas mountains, through backcountry terrain and about 12 hours later to a breathtaking desert terrain for glamping, and yes, a camel trek.

There are small towns along the way, like Dades Gorges or Ait Benhaddou, to pop into or stay the night at along the way. Enjoy!
