NEW! Eat Cake for Breakfast & 99 Other Small Acts of Happiness

Proceeds from each book sold will be donated to the  UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland.

"The little illustrated book that brings you BIG JOY x 100!"

This beautifully illustrated gift book is for anyone who needs a little reminder of the good things in life. With 100 small and very doable acts of happiness, this adorable book is the perfect gift for almost any occasion.

Inspired by the 100 Day Project, Viola Sutanto started sketching daily when her daughter was hospitalized. During the biggest fight of her life, her daughter, Maika managed to find something to be happy about every single day. Drawing these little moments of positivity became their North Star, each moment a sliver of hope that she and her family could look forward to when she came home.

Each little act of happiness is a small, actionable thing that anyone can do:
Look for rainbows after a storm;
Wave to a neighbor;
Eat cake for breakfast...
and is accompanied by adorable illustrations by Viola. Call it a daily reminder, a gentle nudge. No matter how tough life gets, no matter how many challenges or obstacles are put in your way, if you pay attention, you can find happiness everywhere.

This book is a tribute to the medical team at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland, where Viola’s daughter was treated for bone marrow failure. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to support their incredible work.

Hardcover Book Dimensions: 4.5" x 5.5" x 0.75"; 160 pages.

Our new family favorite!

The drawings and activities are so delightful. My kids think it’s an excellent blueprint for their “yes day”, everyday. #YOLO We mostly just love to support Maika’s amazing story and a wonderful cause, with a portion of book proceeds donated to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. In a time of so much uncertainty, it’s comforting to remember and prioritize these (super simple) small acts of happiness.
